Tippavajjula Apuroopa Sai Lakshmi
Apuroopa’s journey started with her childhood dream of teaching, where she loved holding a chalk and explaining lessons on the board during school. Now, as a PhD student at IIM Visakhapatnam, she feels lucky to have great teachers, good facilities, and lots of support to help her grow. She is learning more about Organizational Behavior and Human Resources through her PhD. Her research focuses on how AI and NLP is used in hiring. With her background in technical and management studies, she works on combining technology with fairness, trying to make hiring processes better and fairer for everyone.
