Assignments During Tenure
- The PDFs will carry out advanced research at IIMV under the Reporting Faculty Member, who shall act as a mentor.
- The goal will be to publish in the top, internationally recognized journals. It is expected that by the end of the first year, at least one papers ABDC (B-category) should have been published or accepted, with IIMV affiliation.
- Fellows may also be provided with teaching opportunities (Maximum 60 Hrs), as part of grooming them for an academic career.
Performance Assessment During the Tenure
- The PDF is required to submit a progress report every six months on the research work carried out and research findings, supported by reprints/preprints/manuscripts of the papers published/accepted/presented for publication or presentations, to a Performance Assessment Committee (PAC).
- The PDF is also required give a presentation every six months to the Institute community, on his/her work.
- Continuation of PDF at any time is subject to satisfactory progress review carried out at least once every six months
- The Fellowship may be terminated by the Institute if the performance or conduct of the Fellow is unsatisfactory (as evaluated by the PAC), after giving one month's notice to the PDF.
