Refund and Withdrawal Policy:

Introduction: This withdrawal and fee refund policy aims to provide clarity and guidelines regarding the process and consequences of withdrawal from the PGDMEx program of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV). This policy applies to all applicants of the PGDMEx program. By accepting the Offer of Admission in the PGDMEx program, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the withdrawal and fee refund policy as outlined below.

Before the Program Registration:
  • A candidate who has paid the total program fee may withdraw his/her admission, provided that a formal request for withdrawal is received by the PGDMEx Admissions Office on or before the deadline specified in the admissions offer letter. For this, the candidate would need to fill and submit the withdrawal form provided on the admissions portal to initiate the refund.
  • In such cases, the fee received is paid back to the candidate after deducting INR 1000/- towards administrative charges. However, please note that the application fee will not be refunded.
  • The refund will be processed within 30 days from the date of receiving the withdrawal form.
On or After the Program Registration:
  • If the withdrawal request is received by PGDMEx admission office on or after the date of program registration, the candidate would be permitted to do so; however, the fee paid (including application fee) will not be refunded or transferred towards any other participant/program/batch.
  • If any participant fails to pay the program fee as per the fee payment deadline given and/or drops out of the program without any information to the PGDMEx program office (PGDMEx@iimv.ac.in), the fee already paid by the candidate will not be refunded or transferred towards any other participant/program/batch.
