Executive Program in Strategic Management Batch-1: Campus Immersion
The Executive Program in Strategic Management Batch-1 at IIM Visakhapatnam concluded with a dynamic three-day campus immersion and valedictory session, marking the culmination of a year-long journey for a diverse group of working professionals.
Throughout the program, participants engaged with key strategic themes such as Industry Analysis, Business Strategy, Design Thinking, Leadership, and International Business through rigorous coursework, real-world application, and peer learning.
Prof. Sushil Kumar, Program Director, reflected on the programme’s transformative journey and urged participants to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose. “You now carry forward not just a credential, but a responsibility,” he noted. Prof. Deepika Gupta, Program Co-Director, praised the cohort's engagement and highlighted the quality of capstone submissions, noting that several showed promise for academic publication.
A highlight of the immersion was the keynote by Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIMV, who stressed the importance of strategic foresight and long-term, values-driven leadership.
During the valedictory ceremony, the Programme Directors thanked Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, the faculty, staff, administration, IT team, and the EEP Office, with a special mention to Mr. Ravi Chandra, as well as the participants and their families, for their extended support in making the programme a success. They added that IIM Visakhapatnam remains committed to nurturing purpose-driven leaders through academic excellence and industry-relevant executive education.
