Training Program on Public Procurement for CPSE Officers Under the aegis of the Procurement Policy Division, Dept. of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India
Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam held a five-day (17-21 November) Training Program on Public Procurement for CPSE officers under the aegis of the Procurement Policy Division, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
The programme, led by Prof. S. Chatterjee and Prof. Jayanth, covered key aspects of procurement, including procurement of goods and services, overseas procurement, dispute resolution, preparation of tender documents, and the code of integrity. A total of 15 officers from Central Public Sector Enterprises across the country participated in the training.
The programme concluded with a valedictory address by Shri Manish Bhatia, Director, Procurement Policy Division, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, where he encouraged the participants to contribute actively to national development and work towards a Viksit Bharat.
Participants shared their feedback, noting that the sessions by the subject matter experts were insightful and that the curriculum was well-structured and impactful. The ceremony closed with a vote of thanks by Prof. Jayanth, who expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders involved.
