Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects Program under the Aegis of NeGD, MeitY, Government of India

The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) has launched a five-day capacity-building programme titled "Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects," under the aegis of the National E-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Kaveri Krishnan, Dean of Administration at IIMV, who addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. A total of 28 professionals from various government departments and public sector undertakings are participating in the programme.

Prof. Neena Pandey, Programme Director, welcomed the attendees and provided an overview of the programme schedule, setting the tone for what promises to be an insightful and engaging learning experience.

The programme covers key topics such as Digital Transformation, Risk Management, Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies, Digital Public Infrastructure, and Law & Ethics in Digital Projects.

Expert-led sessions include contributions from:
  • National E-Governance Division (NeGD), MeitY: Mr. Debabrata Mukherji and Ms. Aashita Dagar
  • Ministry of Finance: Mr. B. Gopala Krishna Kanth Raju 

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Abhishek Srivastava, Programme Co-Director. He conveyed his gratitude to the Chief Guest, highlighted the guidance and vision of Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIMV, and extended his gratitude to NeGD and all stakeholders whose efforts were instrumental in shaping the programme.
