Inauguration of CRISP 2024 Conference at IIM Visakhapatnam

The Centre for Responsible Management Education (CRME) at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) inaugurated the Case Conference on Responsible Innovations & Sustainability Practices (CRISP) 2024 today at the institute's permanent campus. This landmark two-day conference, being held on December 13-14, 2024, brings together academia, industry experts, and thought leaders to foster dialogue on sustainability and responsible management practices.

The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Amit Shankar, Dean (Research) at IIMV. Addressing the audience, Prof. Shankar emphasised the critical role of innovation and sustainability in shaping the future of responsible business practices.

The conference began with an interactive case presentation series featuring innovative sustainability projects. Organised across three sessions, these presentations showcased groundbreaking ideas from 15 teams under categories like responsible management, green innovation, and ESG integration. The topics at CRISP 2024 are highly varied, ranging from digital marketing and fashion sustainability to global climate solutions, highlighting a broad spectrum of responsible innovation and sustainability practices.

CRISP 2024 aims to spark meaningful discussions on sustainability while providing a platform for future leaders to present solutions to global challenges. This conference reflects CRME’s unwavering commitment to promoting responsible management education and fostering partnerships that drive positive societal impact.

"The best outcome of this initiative was the opportunity to take on a larger role in promoting sustainable business practices. As the first-ever case conference on sustainability, it featured case studies from both practitioners and students. TimesPro and ET Cases are thrilled with the success of this initiative, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing in sustainability," said Mr. Sunil Sood, Chief Growth & Partnership Officer at TimesPro.
