IIM Visakhapatnam Launches Fourth Batch of Executive Post Graduate Certificate Program in General Management
IIM Visakhapatnam has launched the fourth batch of its one-year Executive Post Graduate Certificate Program in General Management (EPGCPGM) in collaboration with Jaro Education. The program will be conducted online via Jaro Education’s cutting-edge Interactive Learning (IL) platform. The cohort represents a wide range of professional backgrounds, including designations such as Senior Manager, Associate General Manager, Principal Architect, Managing Director, Senior Software Engineer, and Business Development Manager. The participants, who hail from industries as diverse as software development, banking, engineering, and education, bring with them an average of 5.77 years of work experience, enriching the learning environment with their diverse expertise.
The EPGCPGM is designed to sharpen participants' business acumen and leadership skills, empowering them to build successful organizations. Throughout the program, participants will engage in various learning methodologies, including case studies, group discussions, interactive workshops, and experiential exercises. They will learn from experienced faculty members and collaborate with peers from multiple industries and backgrounds, gaining the tools and insights needed to thrive in today’s complex business landscape.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Mr. Neeraj Sanghi, Managing Director and Operating Partner at Neo Asset Management Pvt. Ltd., who stressed the importance of continuous learning for professional and personal growth. Mr. Sanghi introduced the participants to his "SMILE" model, designed to facilitate the transition from managerial roles to leadership positions.
On this occasion, Prof. Amit Shankar, Dean of Research at IIM Visakhapatnam, congratulated the participants for embarking on this enriching journey. Program Directors, Prof. Prince Doliya and Prof. Preeti Virdi, provided an overview of the course structure and shared details about the batch. They also expressed their gratitude to Prof. Anuradha, Chair of Executive Education Programs, for her invaluable support.
