Inauguration of CRISP 2025 Conference at IIM Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam, November 7, 2025: As part of the 10-year celebrations of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV), the Centre for Responsible Management Education (CRME) inaugurated the Case Conference on Responsible Innovations and Sustainability Practices (CRISP) 2025 today. This landmark two-day conference, being held on November 7 and 8, brings together academia, industry experts, and thought leaders to foster dialogue on sustainability and responsible management practices.
The event began with a welcome address by Prof. Amit B. Chakrabarti, Chair, CRME, who set the tone for the two days of discussions. He emphasized that innovation must go hand in hand with inclusion and urged participants to challenge conventional wisdom and explore new perspectives in responsible management.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Shenoy Mathew, Chief Sustainability Officer, ARYA, India’s leading agritech enterprise that strengthens agricultural value chains through integrated farmgate-level solutions. In his inaugural address, Mr. Mathew highlighted that sustainability is not a choice or a cost but a necessity. Drawing from his industry experience, he spoke about consumer satisfaction, the role of women in sustainability, and initiatives driving climate action and sustainable agriculture.
Following the inauguration, the conference featured an engaging series of case presentations on innovative sustainability projects. Organized across four thematic sessions, the presentations showcased groundbreaking ideas from fifteen teams under categories such as responsible management, green innovation, and ESG integration. The topics presented at CRISP 2025 ranged from digital marketing and fashion sustainability to global climate solutions, reflecting a wide spectrum of responsible innovation and sustainability practices.
CRISP 2025 aims to foster meaningful dialogue on sustainability while providing a platform for future leaders to present solutions to global challenges. The conference reflects CRME’s unwavering commitment to advancing responsible management education and promoting collaborations that create positive societal impact.
