Inauguration of Executive Certificate Program in Advanced Leadership and Change Management
IIM Visakhapatnam proudly announces the launch of its online Executive Certificate Program in Advanced Leadership and Change Management, a six-month course designed to enhance leadership management skills and cultivate change management capabilities. With participation from 40 individuals representing various sectors across industries, the program aims to provide professionals with the tools and insights needed to navigate the complexities of modern leadership.
Professor Anupama Sharma, the Program Director, provided an overview of the curriculum, highlighting the importance of continuous skill enhancement to adapt to evolving leadership paradigms.
Professor M. Chandrasekhar, the Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, emphasized the significance of effective leadership and change management in overcoming organizational challenges.
The event also featured Mr. MVN Rao Ji, Head (Corporate Learning and Development) at Larsen & Toubro, as the Chief Guest. He stressed the crucial role of leaders in ensuring the desired outcomes of change. He noted that while change can be intimidating, stagnation is even more detrimental. Mr. Rao emphasized the value of embracing change with a positive mindset.
Prof. Chandreie Mukherjee, the Program Co-Director, expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest and participants for their engagement. She summarized the program and sought continued participation and support from all the stakeholders for running the program.
