The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam celebrated India's 76th Independence Day on its permanent campus, Gambheeram, with great excitement. Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, hoisted the national flag and addressed the students, faculty, and staff. Addressing the audience, Prof. Chandrasekhar elaborated on India's progress toward creating a five-trillion-dollar economy by 2025 and underlined India's progress toward "Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat" and our nation's demographic dividend. He also referenced Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu’s speech, which emphasised the importance of achieving societal harmony, gender equality, and unity. Before embarking on their entrepreneurial journey, he advised the students to develop their own original entrepreneurial concepts and test them at IIMV Foundation for Incubation Entrepreneurial Learning and Development (IIMV-FIELD).

He commended the Project Office Management (PMO), Administration, IT and HR Teams, and Student Affairs Council (SAC) for their efforts in supporting Independence Day celebrations at the new permanent campus. Faculty members, staff, and students of IIMV were present during the event.
