IIMV
Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 celebrations

As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week Celebrations that were held between Oct 31 and Nov 6, 2022, with the theme ‘Corruption free India for a developed Nation’, IIMV jointly with HPCL celebrated the event alongside students on 5th November 2022 held at IIMV’s permanent campus (Gambheeram). Shri Sanjoy Sen, DSP, CBI; Shri S Bhauprakash, DGM (Retail), HPCL; and Shri K Srinivasu, Chief Manager (Vigilance), HPCL were the dignitaries who graced the event. Faculty, and staff of IIMV also attended this event.

The guests addressed the students and emphasised the significance of young people speaking out against corruption and preventing its growth not just in the public but also in the private sector. Corruption has deep roots in systems that pose serious threats to the prosperity of a society or nation, despite being invisible.

Previously, on behalf of the Institute, the Vatsalya Club (Students Affairs Council) organised competitions such as poster making, essay writing, and quizzes for all students, for which the winners were awarded by the Institute and HPCL. HPCL had earlier installed a kiosk to facilitate free Integrity E-pledge certificates for the benefit of all. The ArtQuake Club sang lovely tunes and filled the air with energy and optimism.

Prof. Deepika Gupta, CVO of the Institute, concluded the ceremony with a vote of thanks.
