Shri Anindya Dasgupta, IA&AS [2002], Principal Director of Audit (Central), Hyderabad graced the 9th Foundation Day function of the Institute on 17/1/2023, as the Chief Guest.
In his talk, Shri Dasgupta touched upon a number of important aspects such as Visakhapatnam - "the City of Destiny", its rich culture, traditions and heritage, IIM Visakhapatnam as an important center of learning, the promise the sylvan permanent campus of the Institute holds, the impactful learning environment it offers, and the many firsts of the Institute that are a matter of pride for every stakeholder.
Moving to a wider canvas in his talk, Shri Dasgupta spoke about the strengths of India in the world and its rightful place, the power of digitalized India, the challenges before the younger generation, the many opportunities that New India offers etc.
He said in his concluding remarks, "Let me not miss this opportunity to congratulate each one of you today, on the 9th Foundation Day of IIM Visakhapatnam, for adding your love, hard work and culture of learning and for joining hands with this Institute on its kindergarten steps towards a shining and glorious future"
The speech of Shri Dasgupta was engaging, educative, enriching, enlightening and enjoyable. It was contemporary, customized, clear and cogent.
