LDP for officers from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd.
A customized 5-day Leadership Development Program (LDP) for officers from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. was inaugurated at the IIM Visakhapatnam campus on 12 September. In his inaugural address Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam highlighted the importance of education and the benefits of application of knowledge gained from such training programs. He also stressed the significance of acquiring management skills and relevance of continuing to learn throughout one's career, as learning contributes to leader’s growth curve. During her welcome address, the Program Director, Prof. M V Anuradha, underscored the significance of mastering all facets of management. Professor Balaji Subramanian, the Program Co-Director, offered the vote of thanks.
The five-day programme will cover topics such as strategic planning, leadership perspectives for public sector organisations, corporate finance for leadership roles, effective time and stress management, and the art of persuasive communication. Twenty officers from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. will be attending this LDP.
