IIMV Launches Five Month Online “Executive Certificate Program in Business Finance & Financial Modelling”
IIM Visakhapatnam is pleased to announce the launch of its five-month online "Executive Certificate Program in Business Finance & Financial Modelling." This comprehensive course is meticulously designed to equip professionals with advanced skills and knowledge in business finance and financial modelling. Participants will gain proficiency in analysing financial data, making informed business decisions, and creating robust financial models essential for driving organizational success.
During the inaugural session, Prof. Kaveri Krishnan, the Program Director, welcomed the participants and provided an insightful overview of the program and the diverse profile of the participants. The cohort includes professionals from various sectors such as banking, finance, accounting, and IT, with an average work experience exceeding nine years.
Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, addressed the participants, underscoring the critical importance of decision-making in business. He elaborated on how the course is structured to help participants make sound financial decisions and emphasized the vital role of capital in business and its contribution to organizational value creation.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Radha Krishna, Director of Finance at New Space India Ltd. He highlighted that effective financial management is pivotal to the success of any organization and stressed the need for dynamic financial modelling to adapt to external factors.
Prof. Monika Dhochak, the Program Co-Director, expressed her gratitude to the Chief Guest and the participants, emphasizing the significance of mutual and interactive learning within the program.
