IIMV Launches Five Month Online “Executive Professional Course in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence”
IIM Visakhapatnam has launched a five-month online "Executive Professional Course in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence."
The AI and ML certificate program is designed for business professionals and managers seeking to enhance their understanding of the principles, algorithms, and applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning within a business context. This program focuses on the strategic relevance of AI and ML in driving decision-making, improving operational efficiency, and fostering innovation.
Program co-director Dr. Neena Pandey welcomed all the participants and attendees and gave the overview of the program. The program has 45 participants coming from various professional backgrounds with average work experience of over 14 years. Prof. Shivshanker Singh Patel, Coordinator (Academics & Research), IIM Visakhapatnam addressed the participants and shared the key highlights about IIM Visakhapatnam.
The event was graced by the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest, Shri. Nandkumar Saravade, a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and the Co-Founder of DeepStrat. He is also renowned for his role as the Founding CEO of Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt Ltd (ReBIT). During his keynote address, he eloquently shared a plethora of profound insights derived from his extensive career, underscoring the imperative nature of continuous upskilling for professionals. Moreover, he also placed particular emphasis on elucidating the pivotal role that artificial intelligence and machine learning play in elevating the quality of service delivery within the public sector and also in financial services.
Professor Abhishek, serving as the Program Director, extended his appreciation to both the chief guest and the program participants, underscoring the significance of collaborative and interactive learning within the program. Furthermore, he conveyed his sincere gratitude to Professor M. Chandrashekhar, the Director of IIMV, for his unwavering support and encouragement, which greatly assists the faculty in the development and delivery of these executive education programs.
