A leader must effectively utilize these skills (awareness, regulation, motivation, and empathy) to achieve sustainable impact. In this era of transformative change driven by AI and machine learning it is very important to develop new skills and capabilities to meet the current demand.

Prof. Amit Shankar, Program Co-Director, addressed the gathering and shared the detailed program guidelines, highlighted how to leverage conceptual and management knowledge. He detailed the course structure, including participant demographics such as gender and experience. All participants are from diverse backgrounds, this blend of experiences and peer leaning will help in future learning initiatives.

Shri. A Radha Krishnan, Director (Finance) New Space India Ltd & Member in Finance, Investment & Audit Committee IIM Visakhapatnam, the chief guest for the inaugural event, highlighted how the program's objectives are relevant and futuristic and providing valuable insights to advance careers.  Quoting Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, he said “Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great” He encouraged participants to unlearn and embrace new ideas. Some key themes include things we tend to ignore or set aside in our busy lives. It's essential to embrace constant learning and maintain a childlike curiosity. Resilience is crucial, as demonstrated by the lessons of COVID-19: reflect, brainstorm, and persist. Avoid unnecessary baggage that could burden us and affect decision-making.

Prof. Sushil Kumar presented vote of thanks on behalf of entire IIM Visakhapatnam fraternity and wished all the success for the batch and great learning in coming 12 months.
