IIM Visakhapatnam Launched Post Graduate Certificate Program in Digital & Social Media Marketing
The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam has inaugurated the Post Graduate Certificate Program in Digital & Social Media Marketing. The Nine months program will be conducted online via TimesPro Education’s platform. A total of 57 working executives from various industries have enrolled in the program.
The programme has been designed by the experienced and learned faculty of IIM Visakhapatnam to enable marketing professionals to understand strategies and tactics to optimize digital and social media platforms. The program aims to impart essential knowledge of several basic and advanced techniques to the participants by engaging them in hands-on exercises, simulations, case studies, projects, and scenarios in real business contexts. Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Search Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Digital Marketing Analytics are the major component of the program.
Prof. Amit Shankar, Program Director, welcomed the participants, shared insights about his experience with the attendees, and highlighted the program roadmap.
The chief guest of the inauguration, Prof. Malavika Harita, Founder & CEO, Brand Circle and Member on the boards of IIM Visakhapatnam and IIM Bangalore, congratulated the participants and broadened the understanding and importance of digital and social media marketing. She also emphasized contemporary marketing techniques for exponential growth.
Prof. Chandrasekhar M, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam also congratulated participants for being part of the program. He emphasized the importance of branding in the digital era and the use of technology to promote the business.
