Award of Major Research Project (ICSSR)

Prof. Rohit Titiyal, and Prof Preeti Virdi,  faculty IIMV, have received Research Grant-in-Aid under the Major Research Project Scheme of the Indian Council for Social Sciences Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. Their project titled “Examining Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and, Self-Efficacy and Intention among Indian Students: A case of select (second generation) IITs and (new) IIMs” focuses on analyzing the entrepreneurship ecosystem at (second-generation) IITs and (new) IIMs which are perceived to be the prospective hubs for creating entrepreneurs. The focus will be on evaluating the entrepreneurship ecosystem at these institutes and proposing strategies for creating an efficacious and efficient entrepreneurship ecosystem at these places.

ICSSR research grants promote cutting-edge social science research by Indian scholars with theoretical, conceptual, methodological, and policy implications.
