2nd MDP for Canara Bank Scale V Officers inaugurated at IIMV
IIM Visakhapatnam inaugurated a 5-day on-campus Management Development Program (MDP) for Canara Bank Scale V Officers on 06 February 2023. Addressing the inaugural gathering, the chief guest Dr Charan Singh, Non-Executive Chairman of Punjab and Sind Bank, Chief Executive at EGROW Foundation and Former RBI Chair Professor at IIM Bangalore, shared his experience and challenges faced in the professional milieu. He highlighted the need for appreciating the international recognition of Indian banking system for its long history and sustainability and urged participants to free their minds from feeling inferior at global levels. Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, in his address brought out the high contribution of Canara Bank in India's economy and the importance of learning and the relevance of applying the knowledge from training at professional levels.
