PGP Ex
17 JULY

IIM V welcomed the 3rd batch of the Post Graduate Program
in Management for Experienced Professionals (PGPEx)

(2021-23) on 17 July 2021. Prof. M Chandrasekhar, Director,
IIM V, addressed the participants, and emphasized the impor-
tance of discipline, learning, and skilling for management
professionals. Smt.Juthika Patankar, Additional Secretary,

Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government
of India sent her virtual message for the incoming cohort: she
focused on the instabilities of the present times and the role of
management professionals in handling organizational and national crises. Prof. Vinay Ramani, the outgo-
ing PGPEx Chair, Prof. Saroj Kumar Pani, the incoming PGPEx Chair, and Prof. Milan Kumar, Admissions

Chair, also addressed the participants.
The new cohort is represented by 31 professionals from renowned publicand private sector institutions.
Over 29 percent participant in the batch have more than ten years of work experience.

IIM V ties up with NIBM- Sri Lanka
26 JULY

A Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) for academic and research cooperation was signed by Prof. M
Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM V, and Dr. D M A Kulasooriya, Director General, National Institute of Business
Management (NIBM), Govt. of Sri Lanka. This collaboration between the two institutes envisions student
exchange programs, cross-country and cross-disciplinary research, and collaborative teaching and train-
ing.IIM V and NIBM, Sri Lanka, have had a fruitful history of academic collaborations in the form of faculty

training and student international immersion programs; and will soon be collaborating on an international
diploma program for women entrepreneurs.
