Executive Social Responsibility, ESR 1.0
22 JULY
The first inaugural batch of students from the Post Graduate Program for Experienced Professionals
(PGPEx19-21) organized a welfare activity and contributed one lakh rupees to the an orphanage. The
‘Executive Social Responsibility’ is the first initiative undertaken by the class of '21 who strongly believe
that, just like a corporate, executives at the individual level too can take up social responsibility and,
accordingly, the idea of ESR was coined.The material required for constructing a half-built orphanage
building – such as plumbing pipes and fittings, sanitary equipment, and groceries for the kitchen worth
more than one lakh rupees were donated in the presence of Dr. Bhaskar Ram, Health CenterIIM V.Carrying
forward this tradition, the second batch of PGPEx plan to initiateESR2.0.
IIMV Vaccination Drive
31 JULY
IIM V organized the second COVID-19 Vaccination
drive for its staff and their family members. The drive
was inaugurated by Dr. G Pydisri, Medical Officer,
UPHC, and Prof. Neena Pandey, Admin Coordinator,
IIM V at the campus premises. 85 members from
IIMV family received their first and second doses of
the vaccine.
International Yoga Day
21 JUNE
On the occasion ofthe International Yoga Day, IIM Vstudents connected virtually
and practiced yoga from their respective homes under the initiative ‘Yoga at
Home, Yoga for Well-being’.
