IIMV became a signatory to the UN PRME - United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Edu-
cation, a network of over 860 leading business schools across 95 countries, on 3 May 2021. By joining the
PRME community, IIM Visakhapatnam commits to aligning institutional strategies and operations with the
PRME principles, advancing values such as sustainability, responsibility, and ethics in teaching, research,
and thought leadership, while working to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

PGP-DGM

The Institute welcomed the 2nd batch of the Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Manage-
ment (PGP-DGM). The Chief Guestfor the event Shri Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY, GoI, in his address
noted how digital technologies are going to be a significant part of almost all the solutions in the future.
Giving the example of language technologies, he emphasized on the role it plays in a diverse country like
India. He also spoke about the way in which the digital technologies can burst the silos in government
and redesign the monopoly by bringing in a competitive edge towards increasing the efficiency in deliver-
ing public services.
