45 participants from varied professional backgrounds registered for this program that is being led by
Professor Abhishek Srivastava (Program Director) and Prof. Neena Pandey (Program Co-Director).

IIMV CONDUCTED THE SAKSHAM PROGRAM FOR THE OFFICERS OF
THE INDIAN OIL CORP LIMITED

Indian Institute of Management
Visakhapatnam (IIMV) conducted the
Saksham program for officers of the Indian
Oil Corp Limited (IOCL) at the Indian Oil
Institute of Petroleum Management, New
Delhi, from 4th to 9th December. The
program embarked on its journey with 23
participants. Prof. Amit Baran Chakrabarti
and Prof. Amit Shankar are the program
directors. The six-day residential program
was based on the Indian Oil Leadership
Competency Framework.

MDP FOR EXECUTIVES FROM POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD

The Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam, wrapped up a three-day Management Development

Program on ‘How to Say It at Work: Skills to Communicate with Superiors, Colleagues, and External Customers’
for executives from Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. at its permanent campus on 15 December. Twenty-
six officers from Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. participated in this program.
Prof. Sunitha, Program Director, summarised the
program and mentioned that participants had
the opportunity to explore the fascinating world

of effective communication, which is a crucial
skill for becoming a successful leader. Sharing
their experiences from the program, participants
expressed gratitude to the faculty, and appreciated
the course content. They noted that their mindset

on communication skills has been enriched thanks
to what they learned from IIMV.
