EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS

CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM FOR HINDUSTAN SHIPYARD LIMITED OFFICERS

IIMV conducted a 5-day on-campus Management Development Program for the Mid-level Managers of
Hindustan Shipyard Limited. This program aims to upskill the managers on evolving management concepts,
practices, perspectives, and approaches. A total of 23 managers from HSL are attending the program.

nurture and develop Entrepreneurial leaders in organizations. She also highlighted the continuous partnership
of IIMV with HSL in capacity building initiatives. Prof. Balaji Subramanian, the Program Director, extended a
warm welcome to the participants and provided a comprehensive overview of the training modules

PROGRAM ON BUSINESS FORECASTING: TIME SERIES DATA ANALYSIS

IIMV conducted a 5-day online development program on Business
Forecasting: Time Series Data Analysis from 18 to 22 September 2023.
The objective of this online program is to provide a framework and the
necessary data-analytic tools required to process large numeric time-
series datasets. The inferences drawn from these datasets can be used
for data-driven decision-making. The program focused on examples from
various management domains. In addition to learning data-analytic tools,
participants were introduced to the statistical software R for data analysis.
Prof. Shivshanker Singh Patel, Faculty in the Decision Sciences area at
IIMV, was the program director.

ONLINE FDP ON PEDAGOGY AND RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

25 SEPTEMBER

IIMV conducted a two-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) between October 2-13, 2023, focusing
on Pedagogy and Research Methodology. The program garnered almost 100 registrations from seventeen
different states of India, with participation from foreign attendees from the US and China.
