EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS






      Welcoming the participants, the chief guest, Prof. Bishakha Majumdar - the Executive Education Program
      Chair  of  the  Institute,  emphasized  the  significance  of  research  and  teaching  in  the  modern  world.  She
      discussed the need for application-oriented teaching and impactful research in academia. Prof. Majumdar
      added that participants would gain insights into innovative teaching methods and stay abreast of the latest
      trends and technological advancements in their respective disciplines through this FDP. She also highlighted
      the various certificate programs the Institute offers to young professionals, addressing challenges posed by
      technology and industry.


      Prof. Chandreie Mukherjee and Prof. Amit Shanker served as the Program Directors for this FDP.































      FOUNDATION COURSE IN GENERAL MANAGEMENT FOR E5 LEVEL
      EXECUTIVES OF NTPC

         09 OCTOBER

      IIMV inaugurated a 6-day Foundation Course in General
      Management for E5 Level Executives of NTPC-Simhadri.
      Conducted from October 9th to 14th, 2023, this MDP
      blends  foundational  competence-building  techniques
      with advanced leadership aptitude, suitable for future
      leaders to  meet the  challenges of  a highly  dynamic
      business environment.

      Speaking at the inaugural session, chief guest Shri
      Sanjay Kumar Sinha, HOP NTPC-Simhadri, shared the
      significance of management training for future managerial and leadership roles. In addition, he emphasized the
      importance of a “learning organization” and change management. He added that participants need to update
      themselves with the advancement of technology and inculcate managerial skills to improve workplace productivity,
      which will directly enhance the productivity of NTPC at the country level. He further highlighted the pivotal role
      of NTPC in nation-building and shared how the organization has shaped its paths toward success with the help

      of such programs.
