EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS





      Shri K S Varaprasad, Ex-Director General (HR), DRDO, was the chief guest for the inauguration of the two
      programs. Shri Varaparad, in his inaugural address, emphasized the importance of gaining managerial

      skills as one grows in the organization. He stressed the significance of project management in successfully
      delivering  projects  on  time.  He  highlighted  the  need  to  multiply  human  resources  by  networking  with
      different organizations, distributed work centres, more participation of academic institutes and involving
      student population into development activities for efficient execution of projects. He also noted that AI and
      autonomous machines are going to play significant role in future and underscored the significance of proper
      technology forecast and the need to invent disruptive technologies.

      Prof B. Srirangacharyulu, the Program Director, extended warm welcome to the participants, briefed the
      participants about the training modules and the program outcome. There are 16 participants in the DRDO
      Program and 10 participants in the NAD Program. Prof M V Anuradha, Dean (Administration), IIMV, briefed
      the participants about the journey of the Institute. Prof Rohit Titiyal, the Program Co-director, MDP-DRDO
      introduced the Chief Guest to the Participants. Prof Balaji Subramanian, the Program Co-director, MDP-
      MATI NAD proposed the vote of thanks.



      POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN DIGITAL FINANCE & FINTECH

         11 AUGUST
      The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam inaugurated the Post Graduate Certificate Program in

      Digital Finance & Fintech. This 10-month long program will be conducted online via TimesPro Education’s
      platform. A total of 59 working executives from various industries have enrolled in the program.
      The program is designed to shape participants’ pertinent outlook and knowledge towards Digital finance and
      Fintech. Over the course of the program, participants will engage in a range of learning activities, including
      case studies, group discussions, interactive workshops, master classes and experiential exercises. They will
      learn from experienced faculty members and have the opportunity to network and collaborate with a diverse
      group of peers from various industries and backgrounds.

      The Program Directors, Prof. Pooja Kumari and Prof. Amit Shankar, welcomed the participants and shared
      a brief overview of the course modules and the batch details. The inauguration was graced by chief guest
      Prof. H. Krishnamurthy, Former Chief Research Scientist, IISc, Bangalore and Member on the Board of RBI
      Innovation Hub, Indian Financial Technology & Allied Services and National Institute of Securities Markets. In
      his insightful words to the learners, Prof. Krishnamurthy said that Time, Access, and Data are the three major

      pillars of the Fintech Ecosystem.
      On this occasion, Prof. Chandrasekhar M, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, emphasized the growing importance
      of Fintech in the country. Prof. Chandrasekhar motivated learners to have bigger and better goalposts in life
      and career to ensure continuous growth.
