      EXECUTIVE POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN GENERAL MAN-

      AGEMENT (EPGCPGM) VISIT

         27 MAY

      The students of the Executive Post Graduate
      Certificate  Program  in  General  Management
      (EPGCPGM)  visited  the  world-class  IIMV  campus
      on 27 May 2023, for a get-together and faculty

      interaction. The visit served as an exciting platform to
      celebrate their achievements, reflect on their journey,
      foster connections and build network capital. Prof.

      Prince Doliya, Chair of the EPGCPGM, delivered the
      welcome  address,  emphasizing  the  significance
      of the program and expressing gratitude to all
      stakeholders who contributed to its success. Prof.
      Shivshanker Singh Patel, Coordinator (Academics &
      Research) addressed the audience and shared his thoughts on the importance of academics-research

      interplay in driving innovation and excellence in management education. The valedictory address was
      delivered by Shri A Radha Krishna, Member of the Finance, Investment & Audit Committee at the Institute.
      His speech provided valuable insights into the current trends and challenges in the business world,
      inspiring the participants to leverage their learning to make a meaningful impact. This was followed by
      faculty interaction. A highlight of the event was the experience-sharing session, where participants had the

      opportunity to reflect on their learning journey and exchange constructive ideas. It facilitated the participants
      to know better about each other, their work challenges and successes. The exchange showcased the diverse
      perspectives and expertise that brought enriched-learning opportunity into the program. Prof. Preeti Virdi,
      Chair of Executive Education Programs at the Institute, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude
      to the program partners, faculty, and participants for their unwavering dedication and commitment to the
      program’s success.



      CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME FOR HINDUSTAN SHIPYARD LIMITED
      SENIOR MANAGEMENT OFFICERS

         05 JUNE
      A three-day capacity building programme for Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) senior management officers

      was inaugurated at IIM Visakhapatnam. The objective of this program is to develop critical leadership skills
      and advance strategic adaptability and the innovative mindsets needed to navigate complex changes in the
      organization.
      Addressing the inaugural gathering, Chief Guest Cmde. KE Mathew (Retd), Director (Shipbuilding), Hindustan
      Shipyard Limited spoke about the importance of continuous learning even being a working professional. He
      emphasized that learning should not be limited to classrooms only. Sharing his personal anecdotes, he advised
      that decision-making whether right or wrong should be done with courage and determination. The decision-

      maker should stand by these decisions that act as key virtues to the continuous attainment of targets.
