2. Mr. Reetendra Singh, PhD 2021 batch (Decision Sciences area) presented a paper on ‘Axiomatic
network analysis of disruption in the complex supply chain” in XXV Annual International Conference of the
Society of Operations Management (SOM), held from 16th to 18th December 2022 at IIM Indore.

3. Mr. Nandan Kumar Singh, PhD 2019 batch (Production and Operations Management) presented
a paper titled “Cyber risks associated with additive manufacturing in healthcare supply chain” at the 11th
American Healthcare Summit, 15-18 November 2022, San Francisco USA.

4. Mr. Guneshwar Anand, PhD 2019 batch (Production and Operations Management) presented a
paper titled ‘A new class of valid inequalities for the binary knapsack polytope’, at the POMS India
International Conference 2022, held between December 21 and 23 at 2022, IIM Kozhikode.
He also presented another paper titled ‘Fixed Charge Transportation Problem: A Benders Decomposition Based
Solution Approach’ at the ISDSI Global Conference 2022, held between December 27 and 29 at Jagdish Sheth
School of Management (JAGSoM), Bengaluru.

5. Ms. Praveena Musunuru PhD 2019 batch (Finance and Accounting) presented a paper titled
‘Retired Bureaucrats on the Board of Directors : Do they Improve Firm Performance?’ at the 13th Emerging
Markets Conference, 2022 (Organised by XKDR Forum in collaboration with Trustbridge and Vanderbilt Law
School) held on 12th -13th December 2022 at Boundary Hall, MCA, BKC, Mumbai.

Covid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav camp at IIMV

08 SEPTEMBER

As a precaution against the spread of Novel Coronavirus, IIMV organised a Covid-19 Vaccination drive with
the theme "Covid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav" for its employees and their dependents on September 8,
2022. Prof. M. Anuradha (Dean of Administration) inaugurated this vaccination drive in the presence of Dr.
V Bhaskar Ram (Medical Officer). Dr. Lily N (Medical officer), UPHC, ChinnaWaltair, facilitated her assistance
by providing vaccination for IIMV. About sixty members from the IIMV family received their free preventative
dose during this drive. Previously, IIMV had coordinated vaccination drives in May, July, August, and October
of 2021.
