The officials talked to Bollem Raja Kumar (Inovmac), Rijin John (Silidium Circuits), and Jainam Mehta
(UrbanNaps), three of the startups we helped start. They tried to figure out what problems and challenges
startups, especially in the manufacturing sector, face so they could figure out what the startup community
in their area needs in terms of a supportive ecosystem. Mr. Sarath Muthyala from the National Institute of
Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (NI-MSME) stated that MSME has multiple schemes to promote
innovation, and startups can determine which category they fall under in order to avail the schemes. All
present officials and members of the National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME)
expressed a desire to collaborate moreclosely with IIMV FIELD in order to promote innovation and
entrepreneurship / intrapreneurship in the MSME sector of the country.
