presented their research from different areas such
Finance, Marketing, Human resource management,
Strategic management, Operations and Supply chain
management, and other Management related themes. To
promote a quality research culture and encourage the
participants, IIM V awarded Cash Prizes and Certificate

of Appreciation to the top three best papers presented –
Mr. Velavan S (IIM Bangalore), Ms. Nishi Malhotra (IIM
Kozhikode), Mr. Satender Pal Singh (IIM Ranchi) received
the first, second and third best paper awards
respectively.

FDP on Analytics
3 SEPTEMBER

IIMV successfully conducted a 5-day Online Faculty
Development Program on Analytics, directed by our
faculty Prof. Shivshanker Singh Patel and Prof. Bhargab
Chattopadhyay (Decision Sciences area) between 30
August and 3 September 2021.This FDP focussed on the
application of data-analytic tools such as R to extract
valuable knowledge from large datasets. 43 academicians from across the country attended this

program.
