IIMV FIELD

Mr. Nachiket Kulkarni, AVP of Social Entrepreneurship at
NSRCEL, conducted a session on innovative fundraising
strategies which illuminated new paths for our eager

participants. As we explored alternate fundraising approaches,
our attendees discovered creative ways to secure resources,
forge partnerships, and sustain their mission-driven initiatives.
The first day of the bootcamp concluded with a compelling
panel discussion focused on the thought-provoking topic,

“What it means to be a social entrepreneur.” Our Moderator,
Mr. Nachiket Kulkarni, skilfully steered the conversation, and the insights shared by our esteemed panellists
were nothing short of inspirational.

The panellists were:
Mr. Nagaraja Prakasam, Resident Mentor at NSRCEL IIMB,
and Partner at Acumen Fund, Co-Founder & Chairman at

Nativelead.
Mr. Sriram Bhagavatula, Founder & CEO of Grameena
Incubation Center, and CEO of Bhagavatula Charitable Trust.

Mr. Satendra Singh, Founder of “Bastar se Bazaar tak” and his
team members Ms Ambika and Mr Haresh.

Their diverse perspectives and experiences shed light on the multifaceted role of social entrepreneurs in
making a positive impact on society. The discussion was a testament to the power of collaboration and
innovation in driving social change.

IIMV FIELD receives Prestigious Award for the “Breaking Boundaries” Coffee Table
Book

IIMV FIELD has been honoured with an award by the Public Relations Society
of India for “Breaking Boundaries” - A Coffee table book which chronicles the
inspiring journeys of 20 women entrepreneurs who kickstarted their ventures in
the Women Startup Program (Cohort 2) at IIMV FIELD. The program is initiated
by NSRCEL of IIM Bangalore, in which IIMV FIELD is a partner institute.

This recognition highlights the incredible impact of our women startup program,
showcasing how it has empowered and uplifted the dreams of these visionary
women. A big shoutout to all the trailblazing women who have embraced
entrepreneurship and to everyone who has been a part of this transformative
journey!

Mr. M S Subrahmanyam received the award on behalf of IIMV during the International Public Relations Festival
2023 conducted in Dr. B R Ambedkar International Convention Centre, New Delhi.
