EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS



      MDP on ‘Business Etiquette’ for the executives from Power Grid Corporation
      of India Ltd.

         21 SEPTEMBER
       A three-day MDP on Business Etiquette for the executives of
       Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. was inaugurated on
       September 21, 2022, at IIMV. This 3-day training programme,
       led by Prof. Chandreie M  and Prof. Sunitha T  (Program
       Directors), is aimed at developing a comprehensive
       understanding of Business Etiquette, and includes modules
       such as impression management, the psychology of
       interpersonal interactions, conflict management, digital civility,
       etc.

       Prof. SK Ghosh (OBHR), IIM Indore, addressed the inaugural gathering about the importance of networking
       and creating productive relationships at work by harnessing the potential of "relational power". The chief
       general manager of Power Grid Corporation in Visakhapatnam, Shri. AVLN  Rao, also addressed the
       gathering, underscoring the need and applicability of the programme to bridge the academia-industry divide
       and maximise the organization's growth and productivity.


      Executive Development Program in SHRM for HR Professionals

         24 SEPTEMBER
       IIM Visakhapatnam concluded the 5-month Online Executive
       Development  Certificate  Program  in  Strategic  Human
       Resource Management (SHRM) on September 24, 2022. In his
       valedictory address,  Prof.  M. Chandrasekhar,  Director, IIM
       Visakhapatnam, urged the graduating batch to be cognizant
       of  the  changes  in  the  corporate  world  and  the  increased
       emphasis on decentralisation,  engagement,  participative
       management, and work-life balance. He also spoke of recent developments concerning moonlighting, quiet
       quitting, and active disengagement at work, and said that the new-age HR must sit at the strategic table to
       deal with the new-age challenges. Sharing their experience, the participants, who come with widespread
       HR experience across industries such as banking, consulting, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, and education,
       listed the active classroom discussions, the pace of the program, case-based learning, and the alumni
       network as the most valuable takeaways. Prof. Bishakha Majumdar and Prof. Balaji Subramaniam, Program
       Directors, also addressed and congratulated the graduating batch. The ceremony marks the graduation of
       the 2nd batch of the Certificate Program in SHRM, in partnership with NuLearn. The program was attended
       by 74 HR professionals, and covered modules such as HR Strategy, Talent Management, Employee
       Engagement,  Design  Thinking and  HR, and  Basic  Finances  for  HR,  using  case  studies,  exercises,  and
       capstone projects.


      Executive Education Program on Digital Supply Chain and Logistics
      Management

         25 SEPTEMBER
       The 2  cohort of the Executive Education Program on Digital Supply Chain and Logistics Management was

       inaugurated on September 25, 2022. 51 senior executives from 44 organisations joined the program. Prof. S.
       Chatterjee, Senior Professor at MDI Gurgaon, was the chief guest at the inauguration. He congratulated the
       participants and emphasised the significance of digital supply chain and logistics in enhancing the efficiency
       and effectiveness of supply chain processes for businesses worldwide.
