      PGP students from IIMV bag 1st prize in ISB’s NEOM case competition
         20 OCTOBER

       Sankar Tamminaina, Akash Ranjan, and Shailesh Bhoyar from PGP 1 (Section D, 2022-24 batch) were the
       winners of ISB's NEOM case competition.

       Eight teams from IIMB, IIMA, IIFT, SP JAIN, MDI, and Ramjas College competed in the final round of the
       competition, which was held at ISB Hyderabad on 15 October 2022. In the final round, they were tasked
       with proposing a policy improvement based on their analysis of the current policy landscape and developing
       a  solution  to  reduce  the  Cost  of  transportation  and  Scope  3  GHG  emissions.  They  made  a  poster
       presentation in front of distinguished judges, including policymakers, IAS officers, and ISB faculty.



















      Visiting research fellow position at New York University, USA

         28 OCTOBER

       Mr.  Nandan  Kumar  Singh, our third-year  Ph.D.  participant (Productions  &
       Operations  Management  area,  2019  batch),  has  been  offered  a  visiting
       research fellow position at New York University, USA. He will work with
       Professor Ramesh Karri at the NYU Centre for Cybersecurity as part of this
       fellowship. The topic of his research is Digital manufacturing/additive
       manufacturing supply chain risk. Specifically, he will focus on the cyber risk
       and mitigating measures associated with the digital supply chain.

      MGNF




       The MGNF program office conducts knowledge series sessions as part of its District Immersion Modules,
       bringing together domain experts and professionals from the development sector. These sessions serve as
       an opportunity for the fellows to provide in-depth training and education on specific topics related to their
       work, further developing the skills and expertise of all involved.

       The MGNF program's knowledge series sessions play a crucial role in ensuring that fellows have the
       necessary knowledge and resources to succeed.
         10 NOVEMBER

       Mr. Ravi Kumar virtually-delivered a knowledge series session for the MGNF fellows on the topics of CSR and
       Skilling. He provided valuable insights and information about these important concepts, helping the fellows
       to gain a deeper understanding of the role that CSR and Skilling play in promoting sustainable development
       and personal growth.
       CSR  and  Skilling  are  two  important  concepts  that  have  gained  significant  attention  in  recent  years,
       particularly  within  the  business  and  development  sectors.  CSR  refers  to  the  voluntary  actions  taken  by
       companies to have a positive impact on society and the environment beyond their legal obligations. This can
