Executive Certificate Program in Advanced Project Management

IIMV recently introduced an online Executive
Certificate Program in Advanced Project
Management spanning five months. The

program aims to equip participants with
industry-aligned knowledge and skills
based on the Project Management Body of
Knowledge (PMBOK) to effectively manage
projects across diverse sectors. Dr. Srinivas
Josyula, Program Director, welcomed
the 55 participants and emphasized the
program’s diversity. The event was graced by Prof V. Venkat Rao, a retired professor from IIM Ahmedabad

and esteemed Chief Guest, known for his extensive teaching and consultancy experience, especially in
e-governance initiatives. The program is being led by Dr. Srinivas Josyula (Program Director) and Prof.
Abhishek Srivastava (Program Co-director).

Executive Certificate Program in Financial Risk Management Batch -2

IIM Visakhapatnam recently launched the
Executive Certificate Program in Financial Risk
Management Batch -2, a comprehensive five-
month online course focused on identifying,
analysing, and mitigating financial risks. The

program had 62 participants from diverse
domains within the financial industry.
Prof. Chandrasekhar M, Director of IIM
Visakhapatnam, emphasized the importance
of a risk culture and the BASEL framework
in finance. During the inauguration, the Chief Guest, Shri Mohammad Thophic, MD & CEO of Higher Education
Financing Agency (HEFA), discussed the unexpected risks faced by financial institutions and measures for
risk preparation. Prof. Shalini Agnihotri, the Program Director, highlighted the course’s objective of equipping

individuals with essential skills for effective financial risk management and decision-making. Program Co-
Director, Prof. Kaveri K., thanked the Chief Guest and participants for their contributions, stressing the value
of mutual learning and interaction in the program.
