TALK ON ‘CSR AND ESG: BUSINESS CHALLENGES AND

OPPORTUNITIES UNDER CONTEMPORARY CAPITALISM’

Dr. Rebecca Chunghee Kim, Professor Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Beppu, Japan, and Dr. Avvari V. Mohan,
Professor, Monash University (Malaysia Campus) visited IIMV on 27 February 2023.
They held discussions with the faculty and research scholars on possible areas of cooperation in teaching, training,
research, and exchange visits in such areas as family-owned businesses, PRME, entrepreneurship development, and
stakeholder capitalism. Prof. Kim also delivered a research seminar on “CSR and ESG: Business Challenges and
Opportunities under Contemporary Capitalism”. She discussed the role of CSR in achieving ESG goals.
