Medal for Scholastic Performance was won by Ms. Prerna Baid and Ms. Shilpa Raju Kakarlapudi for the

2020 and 2021 batches, respectively. Ms. Prerna Baid and Mr. Hari Annepu were awarded the IIM V Gold
Medal for the first and the 2nd rank respectively, in the 2018 PGCEP program.

MGNF students took part in Mivaan Society’s Winter Warmth Drive

Studentsfrom the first batch of Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) program participated in the
Mivaan Society’s ‘Winter Warmth Drive’ at three shelter homes- Care and Love (Madhavadhara); Manasu

Girls Home (Simhachalam) and HOPE Blind Home (Vepagunta). As part of this initiative, MGNF students
distributed earthen lamps, sweets, groceries, and blankets to seventy children. Speaking on the impor-
tance of this initiative, Avugadda Phanendra Naidu, an MGNF participant, noted, “Every year we celebrate
Diwali with our family members, but this time we wanted to extend our warmth to other people too. We

took this initiative in collaboration with Mivaan Society and spent some quality time with children”. As a
signatory to the PRME initiative, IIM V encourages students to empathize with the values of global social
responsibility.
