Inauguration of the new Annex building to IIMV’s
temporary campus

A new Annex building to IIM Visakhapatnam’s temporary campus

‘IIMV FIELD’ (Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning &
Development) was inaugurated by Prof. PVGD Prasad Reddy,
Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University. Addressing the gathering, Prof.
PVGD Prasad Reddy highlighted the importance of having an
entrepreneurial venture like IIMV FIELD – the Incubation and
Startup Hub of IIMV. He noted, “the end goal is to bring a positive

difference in students’ lives by enhancing their spectrum of
knowledge through such foundations”. Faculty, staff, and students
of IIMV attended this event.

Government Grant Program

IIMV FIELD has been selected for Rs 40 lakh grant under the National
Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI) Accelerator
programme being offered by the Department of Science and Technology.

Mentoring Sessions

IIMV-FIELD organised 41 Adhoc Mentoring Sessions and 27 Mentoring sessions for the Start-ups with our
mentors – Prof. Sushil Kumar, Prof Mohammad Shameem Jawed, Prof. Deepika Gupta, Mr. Harsha Vikas
Dhanalakota and Mr P.B. Srinivas (CEO – Sri Sai Agri biolabs, Alumni – IITM & IIMC).

Networking Sessions

IIMV-FIELD organised a series of Networking sessions ‘Knowledge Series’ between September and
December 2021. Here is a list of some of the expert speakers and the topics on which they shared their
