Twenty- ve MGNF Fellows participated
in SSDM Orientation Session
10 NOVEMBER
After completing their first Academic Module (AM1),
which lasted for two weeks, MGNF fellows were
deputed to their respective districts for their District
Immersion Module. The 25 fellows deputed to
Arunachal Pradesh participated in an orientation
session organized by the State Skill Development
Mission (SSDM), Arunachal Pradesh. During this highly informative and interactive session, they met the
Hon'ble Director Shri Subu Tabin (Skill Development and Entrepreneurship), Deputy Director Shri Prodip
Kumar Das, Assistant Director Shri Jumbom Riba, and other SSDM team members. MGNF fellows will be
working under the close supervision of the respective SSDMs for identifying skill gaps in the district and
will work towards implementing various skilling and training initiatives.
IIM V celebrates Constitution Day
26 NOVEMBER
IIMV celebrated Constitution Day on 26 November 2021 to commemo-
rate the 72nd anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director IIMV, led the faculty, staff, and
students in reading the Preamble to the Constitution of India. In his
addresses, Prof. Chandrasekhar accentuated the importance of uphold-
ing the Constitution and its tenets of equality, unity and integrity.As a
part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ (EBSB) initiative, the Preamble
was also read in Punjabi – to acknowledge Punjab’s importance as the
partner state of Andhra Pradesh under the EBSB.
International Immersion module for PGP-DGM
students

The International immersion module for the student of
2019-21 batch ofPost Graduate Program in Digital Gover-
nance and Management (PGP-DGM) was conducted at
Tallinn, Estonia, by e Governance Academy. Founded in 2002,
eGA is a non-profit foundation: a joint initiative of the Govern-
ment of Estonia, Open Society Institute (OSI), and the United
Nations Development Programme. eGA assists public sector
and civil society organisations in making digital transformations happen. A group of 18 students, accom-
panied by two representatives from National E-Governance Division (NeGD), underwent the International
immersion module between December 6-17, 2021. This module, which is designed to give students an
opportunity to broaden learning and deepen knowledge is structured around in-class sessions, industry
visits as well as visits to digitally transformed government institutions.
