       MDP on Strategic Human Resource Management

       IIM V, in partnership with Nulearn, launchedthe online
       Executive Development Program in Strategic Human
       Resource Management on 17 July. Delivering the inaugural
       address virtually, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM V,
       stressedon the importance of the HR and the significanceof
       continuous learning in multigenerational organizations

       marked by technological advancements. Prof. Bishakha
       Majumdar and Prof. Balaji Subramanian, Program
       also addressed the audience.Sixty-six senior management professionals have enrolled for this five-month
       long certificate program that will cover topics such as talent management, engagement, design thinking in
       HRM, HR Analytics, and Finance for HR.




       FDP on Data Analytics for Research and Publication – AICTE (ATAL) Academy
          27 MAY

       IIM V inaugurated the first 5-day AICTE Training and
       Learning (ATAL) Academy Online Faculty Development
       Program on Data Analytics for Research and
       Publication. Prof. Amit Shankar, IIM V faculty (Marketing
       area) and Program Director noted that this online FDP

       aimed to provide training in data analysis tools such MS
       Excel, SPSS and R for management research, and cover
       topics such as data preparation and cleaning, ANOVA,
       exploratory factor analysis, regression analysis, and cluster analysis.200 participants from the academia
       registered for this program.




       FDP on Pedagogy and Research
          6 JULY

       IIM Vconductedan online Faculty Development
       Program on Pedagogy and Research
       Methodology, directed by Prof. Bhargab
       Chattopadhyay and Prof. Chandreie
       Mukherjee. 49 faculty members from India,
       China, and Liberia, and 61 Indian research

       scholars attended this program. Topics such as
       case writing and teaching, scholarly writing, R
       programming, research design and sampling,
       and statistical inference were discussed during
       this program.
