Alumni Meet – Hyderabad and Bangalore Chapter.

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) organized the Alumni Hyderabad Chapter Meet on
5 Nov 2022 at Deccan Serai Hotel Hyderabad. About 36 Alumni arrived at the venue by 8 pm and were
th
received by the IIMV team. The Alumni Meet started with a welcome address and a presentation by Mr
Somashekara, In Charge - Alumni Office, IIMV and Ms Keshavi Jha, Students Alumni Relations Committee
Secretary, briefed the Alumni about the Alumni activities conducted by the Institute and future plans.

Mr. Somashekara, In Charge of - Alumni Office, gave a vote of thanks, thanked all the alums who were
present and those who couldn't make it and sent wishes for the success of the meeting. He also thanked the
Students Alumni Committee and previous Alumni Committee for their work. He expressed gratitude to the
Director and the CDS Chair for the support and guidance that made the Alumni Hyderabad Chapter
Meet-2022 a grand success.

The Institute also organized the Alumni Bangalore Chapter Meet on 3rd Dec 2022 at Halcyon Condos,
Bangalore. About 40 Alumni arrived at the venue by 8 pm and were received by the IIMV team. The Alumni
Meet started with some fun-interactive icebreaking activities for the alums. It was then proceeded with a
welcome address and a presentation by Mr. Somashekara, In Charge of the Alumni Office, IIMV. Ms. Sruthi
Cheruvullil, and Mr. Raunak Jhunjhunwala, Junior coordinators of the Alumni Committee, IIMV, briefed the
Alumni about the Alumni activities conducted by the Institute and future. This was followed by a
presentation about the placement activities by Mr. Sahil Rasiwasia, Senior placement representative, IIMV

Different agendas covered in the meet :
Updates about the Institute : The alums were thrilled to hear the latest updates about the permanent
campus and its soft launch on 23rd June 2022 and tentatively formal inauguration to be held in March 2023.
They expressed interest in visiting the new campus. The alums were pleased to know about the placement
achievements of their juniors and assured their support for the campus

Alumni Activities : The alums appreciated the initiative of Chapter meets and other activities conducted by
the Alumni Office and the Alumni Committee. They look forward to being part of the mega Alumni Meet to
be held in Feb 2023.
