IIMV FOUNDATION FOR INCUBATION ENTREPRENEURIAL LEARNING &
DEVELOPMENT(IIMV FIELD)
Women’s Startup Program
The Women Start-up Program (WSP) aims to support ambitious and innovative women entrepreneurs by
enabling them to transform their idea into a business venture. The Program is designed to focus on
enhancement of the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of women leading early and ideation stage
ventures. WSP is sector agnostic, providing the essential resources, knowledge, and financial support to
help launch and grow women-led ventures, especially through enhancing their entrepreneurial and
managerial skills. The vision is to make learning accessible, affordable, and unbounded, primarily for
women living in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
The Program provides business knowledge for entrepreneurs to build on their idea in the initial stage
through Massive Open Online Course. The Program then progresses by offering selected candidates a
three-month virtual pre-incubation program where entrepreneurs will undergo business training to
develop their prototype. Finalists are selected to be a part of Incubation at IIMV FIELD where they will
focus on developing their product and scaling up. The Program is fully sponsored by Kotak Mahindra Bank
Limited.
NSRCEL, The Incubation and Startup Hub of IIM Bangalore has initiated the Women Startup Program.
IIMVFIELD is one of the program partners of NSRCEL in the execution of the Women Start-up Program.
The start-ups and entrepreneurs selected through NSRCEL’s rigorous selection process from AP and TG
States will be provided incubation support at IIMVFIELD as well. In 2018-19, IIMV FIELD supported 25
Women start-ups, and in 2020-21, it supported 20 Women start-ups.To know more about the program
