       International Women’s Day Celebration

         8 MARCH
       On International Women’s Day, IIMV Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning, and

       Development (IIMVFIELD) hosted prominent women leaders from various fields for a panel discussion on
       ‘Creating a Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow’.
       The event commenced with a welcome note from Prof. Mohd. Shameem Jawed, Chief Operating

       Officer(IIMV FIELD), where he highlighted the accomplishments of IIMV-FIELD.
       Ms. Sravya Vasireddy, Assistant Manager, IIMVFIELD, moderated the panel discussion on individuals’ roles
       in breaking the bias and creating a gender-friendly ecosystem. The esteemed panellists for the day were
       Ms. Aruna Gali, Entrepreneur (School Radio), Prof. Deepika Gupta, Chief Financial Officer (IIMVFIELD), Ms.
       Tanya Dhawan, Fashion Designer (Label Tayna), and Ms. Sarada V., Editor-in-chief (Red Magazine).

       During the panel discussion, Prof. Deepika Gupta, noted that “Gender inequality is quite prevalent, and
       both men and women need to work to create a balanced ecosystem at work collaboratively”. Discussing
       this year’s UN theme, panel member Ms. Aruna G commented that“Climate change is real, and it is

       impacting women and children. So, to create a sustainable tomorrow, people should start working towards
       conserving the environment to pave the way for sustainable tomorrow for every living being”. True to its
       theme, the panel discussion witnessed some interesting arguments being discussed and questioned.

                                         has been selected for the NIDHI Accelerator Program - National Initiative for
       Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI), which is an umbrella programme conceived and
       developed by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship division - NSTEDB, Department of Science & Technology,
       Government of India, for nurturing ideas and innovations (knowledge-based and technology-driven) into
       successful start-ups.

      IIMV FIELD’s NIDHI Accelerator Program aims to support 15 start-ups and fast track their growth through
      rigorous mentoring and networking support in a span of 6 months. IIMV FIELD will be supported by IIM
      Visakhapatnam, TIE Hyderabad Chapter and FundEnableduring this program. The call for applications is
