ONLINE MDPS AND FDPS



       The program provided active training in Strategic and Operational Leadership with a special focus on lead-
       ership in uncertain environments. Various topics like Team Management, Strategic Leadership and Strategic
       Decision Making, Stress Management, Excellence through Innovation, Supply Chain Management, Project
       Management,  Communication  for  Leaders,  Emotional  Intelligence,  Succession  Planning  and  Strategic
       Human Resource Management were discussed during the program.


       ONLINE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

       I. Technical Education Quality Improvement Programmes (TEQIP) sponsored by the World Bank and funded
       by the National Project Implementation Unit under MHRD, GOI., aim at building the capacities of faculty of
       technical  education  institutions  (typically  government  and  government-  aided  engineering  colleges  pan
       India) as well as their affiliating technical universities, in management and good governance.

       IIM Visakhapatnam hosted a total of five TEQIP (III) Faculty Development Programs in the last quarter (Janu-
       ary - April 2021). These three-day online TEQIP Professional Development Program saw the participation
       of  academicians  from  different  parts  of  the  country.  In  light  of  the  post-COVID-19  new  normal,  these
       programs were designed to incorporate a greater thrust on building institutions future-ready. The theme of
       the programme was embedding quality culture in higher education. Sessions scheduled encompassed a
       wide range of topics such as: Leadership for Realizing Institutional Vision & Mission; Accreditation & Rank-
       ing of Higher Educational Institutions; IPRs for Educators; ICT-enabled Andragogy; Incubation and Entrepre-
       neurship Development; Publishing in High Impact-Factor Journals; Prioritization of Tasks; Managing Conflict;
       Stakeholder Management & Project Implementation in Academic Institutions; and Effective Communication:
       Key to Success etc.
