      WRITING SKILLS

          7 MARCH
       IIM Visakhapatnam hosted an online work-
       shop on research writing skills for doctoral
       students  on  7  March  2021.  The  workshop
       was jointly conducted by Dr. Sachin Mangla
       Kumar, Faculty, Plymouth Business School,

       University of Plymouth, UK, and Dr. Yigit Kazancoglu, Faculty, Yaşar Üniversitesi (Yaşar University), Turkey.
       IIM Visakhapatnam hosted an online workshop on research writing skills for doctoral students on 7 March
       2021. The workshop was jointly conducted by Dr. Sachin Mangla Kumar, Faculty, Plymouth Business School,
       University of Plymouth, UK, and Dr. Yigit Kazancoglu, Faculty, Yaşar Üniversitesi (Yaşar University), Turkey.


                                                       WORKSHOP ON BLOCKCHAIN FOR BUSINESS
                                                       EXECUTIVES
                                                          MARCH 10

                                                       A  workshop  on  Blockchain  for  Business  Executives  was
                                                       organized  by  Prof.  M  Shameem  Jawed  for  the  PGPEx
                                                       students. The resource person for this workshop, Professor.
                                                       Marisetty,  is  currently  working  as  fintech  and  analytics
                                                       Professor at the University of Hyderabad.

       This workshop introduced students to the corporate world of blockchain. First, Prof. Marisetty introduced
       the students to the foundations and principles behind blockchain. This was followed by an outline of busi-
       ness processes in several domains and a description of how blockchain disrupts the traditional business
       process with process innovation, transparency, traceability, and disintermediation. Participants received
       hands on knowledge on how to write simple smart contracts that automate business transactions. In the
       end, participants worked as groups and created their own blockchain model as a proof of concept.


       WORKSHOP ON SURVEY RESEARCH

          27-28 MARCH
       Dr.  Kamalika  Ghosh,  Analyst,  Talent  &  Culture  at
       Lockton Companies, USA, conducted a 2-Day Work-
       shop on Survey Research for Doctoral students. The
       workshop comprised of sessions on survey develop-
       ment  and  validation  processes,  translation  and
       cross-cultural  adaptation  of  surveys,  and  offered
       hands  on  training  through  practical  exercises  in
       survey design and item analysis
