The Business & Public Policy Club of IIM Visakhapatnam was
glad to have Mr. Dhiraj Nayyar, an economist policies expert &
speaker, who is currently Director of economics & Senior vice

president at Vedanta Resources Limited.

Beginning with how the global pandemic followed by the Russia-
Ukraine war impacted the market, he discussed the current state
of GDP and increasing Inflation. He also explored the shifting
market dynamics from the standpoint of the manufacturer. The
event closed with a highly lively Q&A in which all attendees

clarified their questions.

(@markadz.iimv) - The Marketing Club of IIM Visakhapatnam

hosted Mr. Jaison Thomas.He provided some helpful advice on
how to construct one’s profile on the professional networking site
LinkedIn, and how this relates to one’s overall personal branding
strategy, stressing the importance of breaking down long-term
goals into short-term practical initiatives.
