      footed about change, and add to employee satisfaction through cultural alignment and strategic planning.
      The objective of the SHRM program is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the recent developments
      in people management in organizations, and an appreciation of human resource management from the
      strategic  perspective,  along  with  various  tools  and  techniques  of  HR  Analytics.  The  five-month-long

      program, led by Dr. Bishakha Majumdar and Dr. Balaji Subramanian, faculty at IIMV, will cover modules such
      as Strategic HRM, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Design Thinking in HRM, HR Analytics, and
      Finance for HR. The program will involve live, online weekend classes, interactive class exercises, and group
      projects.


      Executive Development Program in Digital and Social Media Marketing

         15 MAY
      IIMV, in partnership with Nulearn, inaugurated
      the virtual Executive Development Program
      in  Digital  and  Social  Media  Marketing  for  over

      50 management and marketing professionals.
      Addressing the inaugural gathering, Prof. M
      Chandrasekhar, Director, IIMV, spoke about the
      importance of digital and social media marketing
      in the current scenario. After the COVID pandemic,
      digital and social media marketing has received a
      significant  attestation  from  the  corporate  world.

      Mr. Sumit Kumar, CEO and founder of Nulearn,
      also shared his views on the importance and relevance of digital and social media marketing.
      The six-month-long program, led by Prof. Amit Shankar, Assistant professor of Marketing at IIM
      Visakhapatnam, will cover modules such as Search engine optimization, Search engine marketing, Google

      Analytics, Google AdWords, social media marketing, Email Marketing, and Digital and Social Media Marketing
      Analytics. The program aims to impart essential knowledge of several basic and advanced techniques
      through case studies, simulations, interactive sessions, hands-on learning, and class exercises. Participants
      will learn best practices and develop the skills to connect business objectives with digital and social media
      strategy, platforms, and tactics.


      Online Capacity building program on communication skills

         24 JUNE
      Between  20  and  24  June  2022,  IIM  Visakhapatnam  hosted
      a programme on communication skills for post-graduate
      participants from Engineering, Management, and Allied fields.
      The objective of the programme is to provide participants with
      the skills necessary for effective communication, public speaking,
      professional writing,  and presentations. Prof. Chandreie
      Mukherjee and Prof. Sunitha T were the program directors for
      this 5-day training program.
