      Squid Games

         26 JUNE
      Zorba, the hobby club of IIM Visakhapatnam, organised a
      fun game evening named “Squid Games” on the picturesque
      Rushikonda  beach.  The  tug-of-war  competition,  in  which
      two armies held the two ends of the rope, witnessed a tough

      competition. Sack Race was able to attract a large number
      of  participants.  In  contrast,  Red  light  green  light  was  an
      outstandingly entertaining game. The series concluded with
      Sand Pictionary, which was a delight to watch. The winners
      were presented with goodies from the decathlon.


      Checkmate

         25 AUGUST
      The IIMV sports club organized Checkmate, the annual chess
      competition,  from  August  25  to  August  29.  It  was  a  great
      success,  with  many  passionate  players  from  both  PGP-1

      and PGP-2 engaging in a skilfully display of anticipating an
      opponent’s  next  moves.  Upendranath  from  PGP-2  won  the
      competition  by  securing  first  position,  followed  by  Shivam
      Shekhar, also from PGP-2. Vishal Lodha of PGP-1 finished in
      third position. In addition, there was a tremendous amount
      of  support  from  the  audience,  who routinely  attended and
      cheered for the participants

      Game of Balls

         29 AUGUST
      Zorba, the IIMV hobby club, organised “Game of Balls,” an

      exciting  ball-related  game  with  a  twist.  After  circling  a  cone
      numerous times, each participant was required to kick the ball
      directly into the goalpost, which was fairly winding. The second
      round involved hitting of the paintball on a target, followed by
      the famous game of dodgeball. The event was a tremendous
      success, with numerous participants and intense competition.

      Fresher’s Party

         30 AUGUST
      The fresher’s party for PGP1 (Batch 2022-2024) was at the
      beautiful Gadiraju Palace. The event was attended by both
      PGP1 and PGP2 students, and was a glitzy evening full of

      music and dancing. At the end of the celebration, the batch’s
      Mr. and Ms. Fresher were crowned.
