EMBA 2024-26 Batch Inaugural Ceremony

The Indian Institute of Management
Visakhapatnam welcomed the second batch of
its Executive Master of Business Administration
(EMBA) program at its permanent campus in
Gambheeram, Visakhapatnam.
Prof. Happy Paul, Program Chair, noted that the 25%
increase in batch size reflects the growing popularity
of the program among working professionals. Prof.
Kaveri K., Admissions Chair, shared that the 2024-
26 batch comprises 180 professionals from diverse
industries, including manufacturing, IT, banking,
consulting, e-commerce, telecommunications, and
retail, with an average of ten years of experience.
Additionally, 28% of the participants are women.
Shri MVN Rao, Head of Corporate Learning &
Development at Larsen & Toubro Ltd., was the

Chief Guest. Other dignitaries included Shri Anish
Srikrishna, CEO of TimesPro, Shri Sunil Sood, CBO
of TimesPro, and Prof. Chandrasekhar M, Director
of IIM Visakhapatnam. In his address, Shri Rao
congratulated the participants and stressed the
importance of upskilling for career growth. He also
emphasized stakeholder management, strategic
execution, and the need for a technologically adept
yet humane approach.
Prof. Chandrasekhar M welcomed the participants,
assuring them of IIM Visakhapatnam’s commitment
to providing an exceptional learning experience.
He encouraged collaboration and the development
of case studies on contemporary management
issues. The event concluded with Shri MVN Rao
awarding Certificates of Merit to students on the
Director’s Merit List from the 2023-25 batch.
