Presented a paper titled ‘Circular procurement roadmap development

for construction industry: Developing nation context’ at the 14th IEOM
conference held at Hyatt Regency, Dubai, Khalifa University, organised
between 11-14 February 2024. This paper was co-authored with
Prof. Aalok Kumar and Prof. P. R. S. Sarma.

Mr. Kumar Rohit, PhD 2022

Presented a paper titled ‘Exploring consumer engagement with smart
voice assistants in the era of emerging conversational technologies’
at the Doctoral Colloquium 2024, XLRI Jamshedpur, organised
between 8-10 April, 2024. He received the Best paper award under
the Marketing track.

Inauguration of Vani Row Memorial Incubation building

IIMV marked a momentous occasion on January 6, 2024, as it unveiled the Vani Row Memorial Incubation
Building of IIMV FIELD at its permanent campus. Mr. B. L. Row, FIE, FAIChE, a distinguished scientist and
philanthropist, graced the event, accompanied by his family members. Their sincere gratitude for the incubation
centre’s successful start and growth resonated, highlighting its crucial role in supporting entrepreneurs. Prof.

Deepika Gupta, Director (Finance) of IIMV FIELD, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, setting a tone of
camaraderie and shared vision. Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam & MD of IIMV FIELD,
illuminated the legacy of Vani Row, celebrating her contributions as a pioneering management consultant
and advocate for student recruitment at IIMV’s outset. The Miss Vani Row Gold Medal was established as a

testament to her enduring impact on the institution’s ethos. Prof. M. S. Jawed, Director (Operations) of IIMV
FIELD, eloquently articulated the centre’s journey of growth and empowerment, emphasising its steadfast
commitment to fostering women-led ventures and expanding its reach across diverse sectors. IIMV FIELD,
with unwavering support from esteemed partners like NITI Aayog, DST, MeitY, MTAR, NBCC, and S2Tech, is

poised to elevate entrepreneurial innovation in realms ranging from EdTech/FinTech to logistics and beyond.
The program culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Shri. Guhesh Ramanathan, CEO of IIMV FIELD,
